Who this policy covers
This policy applies to OreCalc (this website), operated by OreCalc, Canada. You can reach us at b6980039@gmail.com with any privacy question or request.
What OreCalc does and doesn't collect
The calculators on this site run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type in — coordinates, emerald prices, levels — are never sent to a server, stored in a database, or seen by us. If you close the tab, they're gone. We don't require an account, an email address, or any personal information to use the tools.
Like almost every website, we (or services we use) may automatically collect some technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and referring page. This is standard web server / analytics behaviour, not something specific to the calculators.
Cookies and similar technologies
This site may use cookies or similar local storage for:
- Analytics — understanding which pages are used, to improve the site (for example, Google Analytics or a privacy-focused alternative).
- Advertising — if we display ads (for example, through Google AdSense), the ad provider may use cookies or device identifiers to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads based on your browsing activity.
Where required by law (for example, for visitors in the UK, EU/EEA, or similar regions), we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies, and you'll be able to change your choice at any time via a cookie settings link on the site.

OreCalc doesn't knowingly collect personal information from children. Because Minecraft has a large audience under the age of 13, if this site serves a meaningful amount of child traffic we configure our ad provider's child-directed / mixed-audience settings accordingly and limit personalized advertising and data collection to what's appropriate under applicable law (including COPPA in the US and similar rules elsewhere).
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export data held about you, or to object to or opt out of certain processing (including the "sale" or "sharing" of data under laws like the CCPA/CPRA, or rights under the GDPR). Because this site doesn't hold an account system or personal profile, most requests will simply mean opting out of analytics/ad cookies as described above. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes (for example, when adding or removing analytics or ad providers). The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest revision.

This page is a starting point, written to be accurate to a simple client-side calculator site with optional analytics/ads — it is not legal advice.
